Mapping the passions, 1998.

A wood, paper and plastic object made as a result of the Getty Research Institute Scholar's Program (now Research and Education). Consisting of six wooden boxes stacked on top of one another and adhered together with the smallest on the top and largest on the bottom. Each box has an open face with sixty-three folded papers inserted (some hand-colored on their outer edges) resembling miniature books with multicolored spines on a pyramid of miniature shelves. One paper is wrapped in clear plastic. Inscribed with red ink on the verso (near base): Mapping the passions / Anne et Patrick Poirier. 1998.
